IELTS – an insider’s view

So, today was the big day. My expectations were set high, and I thought that the “Listening” part would be hardest, with a lot of dialects etc. Turns out, the entire 30 mins were the most perfect RP I’ve ever heard, bar the Queen herself. The reading part was at least popular versions of academic texts, and I had to, once or twice, actually think a bit… It was actually, not that surprising, the writing part I found to be the most difficult. After all, my ability to handle the English language in writing is far worse than reading, listening and speaking…..

All in all, I hope to scrape together at least a score of 7,5 on a scale from 1-9. The results will come on September 7th, so stay tuned….
